FoxESS EQ4800 is a modern, modular high-voltage (HV) energy storage system designed to maximize self-consumption in photovoltaic installations. A single module with a capacity of 4.66 kWh can be easily scaled up to 41.94 kWh by connecting up to 9 units (1 Master + up to 8 Slaves), allowing for precise adaptation to the needs of households, businesses, or larger off-grid systems.
Technical specifications
The EQ4800 system is characterized by high performance and reliability. The capacity of a single module is 4.66 kWh (48V, 97 Ah), and in the maximum configuration up to 41.94 kWh (up to 9 modules). It operates at high voltage (approx. 400-500V), with a depth of discharge (DoD) of 90% and over 6,000 cycles while maintaining 80% capacity. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to 50°C (discharge), the module dimensions are 570 x 350 x 380 mm, and the weight is approximately 38 kg. It supports CAN/RS485 communication and is compatible with FoxESS inverters.
Advantages and applications
• Flexibility: Plug-and-play installation without specialized tools, ideal for expanding existing PV installations.
• Safety: Built-in BMS protects against overheating, overcharging, and short circuits; LiFePO4 cells minimize the risk of fire.
• Efficiency: Reduces energy losses (efficiency >95%), supports on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid modes, integrating with a mobile monitoring app.
• Economy: Reduces electricity bills by up to 70-90% by storing surplus energy from solar panels, especially in times of rising energy prices.
